The full-size standalone X-ray irradiation system from KUBTEC® features a large chamber size, providing ample space for efficient sample irradiation. It can be used for irradiating organic and inorganic specimens as well as material components. Each system is equipped with a high-resolution optical camera, enabling sample visualization through real-time signals from the chamber. The system can be optionally equipped with X-ray imaging function and a mobile application for remote monitoring and control.

Adopting the dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry (DXA), the gold standard recommended by the World Health Organization (WHO), the system completes high-quality in vivo X-ray imaging, and then performs bone density and body composition (BMC, Fat, Lean) analysis on in vivo experimental animals. It mainly includes measuring the bone mineral density (BMD), bone mineral content (BMC), fat content (Fat), lean mass (Lean) of the whole body or local regions of interest (ROI) of small animals, as well as bone length, area, volume, and the percentage of fat and muscle in tissues.
